SPOT
PORTO FERRO
The spot is located in Porto Ferro Bay 18 km from Alghero.
The Porto Ferro wave is certainly a good place for beginners but also for fans of powerful beach breaks.
It is activated with strong NW winds. Sandy bottom. Crystalline water. Several points with right and left wave.
IDEAL CONDITIONS
With any storm surge S/O, O, N/O and N, Porto Ferro is the ideal spot in north-west Sardinia for surf and SUP. Waves from 1 to 4 meters with several peaks that give space to everyone and a great reef on the left.
NOTES
Mainly sandy bottom. Beware of currents.
Beach Break in the center of the bay and left rocky reef on the south side of the bay working with SW, W and NO storm surges also with active SW wind.
LA SPERANZA
Beach 8 km south of Alghero along the coastal road to Bosa. Right point that breaks around a promontory on a rocky bottom.
IDEAL CONDITIONS
This stunning bay window works with N/O storm surges and generates powerful waves up to 3 m. It also works with S/O and O swells but performs best with strong active N/O.NOTES
The inner section of the wave is very fast and tends to close out near shore. Enter from the end of the wave south into the bay. Lots of sea urchins. Not very crowded. Good water quality.
Right point on rock working with SW and W storm surges and with huge NW storm surges even with strong active wind which is offshore. E’ the only spot that works with the Maestrale forte to have waves of up to 4 metres for windsurfing wave.
It also works with southwest or west storm surges. Near the beach the wave closes quickly.
The point-break is under the blockhouse (a right). Expert location, mixed seabed. Weak currents.
TORQ SURFBOARD
MODFISH
The ModFish perfectly bridges the gap between a midlength and shortboard. The overall stability and feel is reassuring. Fishes are wide with a full nose, creating fast paddling and stability – great for catching waves and generating speed on the wave.
When ridden shorter than a midlength they offer much better manouverability. The tail plan shape and double concave allow tighter turning for vertical surfing and cutbacks into the pocket.
The ModFish is a great in most types of waves and conditions, from knee high to overhead and clean to messy.
Built in TET construction, these are extremely strong and durable, designed to withstand impacts in and out of the water, while still being light and easily handled.
FUN V+
The Volume Plus takes the trend for high volume wide boards into the midlength model, creating a board with the stability and paddle ability of a much longer board, but in a compact, easier to turn package.
These boards suit all surfers of all abilities, whether looking for a first board or quiver builder for fun days. The high volume makes it super easy to catch waves while the rocker and bottom contours make this lively and agile underfoot with more performance than you would expect from a larger board. Great for beginners, great for bigger surfers wanting a shorter board..
All sizes come as 3 fin Thruster set up, except the Wood design as 2+1.
